Cosmic Era (C.E.) 70, the "Bloody Valentine" tragedy escalated into a war between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT. It became severe. Making many sacrifices, they achieved a truce after the second battle at Yakin Due. However, this truce didn't subdue the conflicts between Naturals and Coordinators completely.
During the war, Shinn Asuka was involved in Earth Alliance's intrusion into Orb. While he was escaping from the fire, he lost his parents and little sister before his very eyes. When he was deep in sorrow gripping his sister's cellular phone, which is his only memento of her, a gundam, which was the principal cause of the war, was flying over his head. Being disappointed, he left Orb and went to PLANT.
In C.E. 73., he became a ZAFT soldier.
A young man named Speed Racer wants to become a professional racer, despite the lack of his father, Pops Racer's approval. When Pops reluctantly quits his job after the corporate company he was working for had declined the production of a modified engine for his new racing car, the Mach 5, he later thinks up of creating his own family owned company, Racer Motors (Mifune Motors in Japan). He realizes that he would need a great amount of money to make his idea work. Nonetheless, Pops conceals his plans for the Mach 5's new engine on a windshield. Speed, who values the welfare of his family, decides to take it upon himself to obtain the money for Pops. In hopes of using his unique driving skills to do so, Speed decides to do what he does best and enters a race.

SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron:
Is a Hanna-Barbera American animated series created by Christian Tremblay and Yvon Tremblay. Story Editor Glenn Leopold and Producer Davis Doi developed the show for television. Every episode of the series was directed by Robert Alvarez. The bulk of the series was written by either Glenn Leopold (13 episodes) or Lance Falk (6 episodes). Jim Stenstrum contributed two episodes, while David Ehrman, Von Williams, Eric Clark (with Lance Falk), Mark Saraceni and Jim Katz all contributed one episode. The show ran in syndication from 1993 to 1995, when it was cancelled. There were a total of twenty-five finished episodes and a special episode, that features a report on the SWAT Kats and of all their missions and gadgets as well as three unfinished episodes and two episodes still in the concept stage.
The show was based in the fictional metropolis of Megakat City, which is populated entirely by anthropomorphic felines, known as "kats".
This series takes place three months after the events occurred in the Tuatha de Danaan at the end of the Full Metal Panic! series. Mithril learns of a secret organization that has technology able to counter the ECS (Electronic Cloaking System) mode. This organization, known as Amalgam, also has "Black Technology", obtained from "Whispered" like Kaname Chidori, and like the other intelligence agencies, they intend to obtain more. However, when Sousuke's mission to protect Chidori is terminated by Mithril, all seems to be in place for Amalgam's plans.
Plot Summary:
The anime series originally aired in 2002, produced by Gonzo Digimation, after its real premiere date was canceled because of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in New York. The series was licensed for North American release in 2003 by ADV Films, and the manga released by ADV Manga. The first three of the novels form the basis for the Full Metal Panic! anime.
The animated series follows the events and relationships surrounding Sousuke Sagara, a professional soldier of a covert, international, anti-terrorist mercenary group named Mithril, and Kaname Chidori, a spirited Japanese high school student that, unbeknownst to her, is more than she seems.
Due to his Japanese heritage and young age, Sgt. Sousuke Sagara is selected to go undercover as a transfer student and secretly remain Kaname's undetected bodyguard. With orders only to protect her from abduction by an unknown hostile force, neither Sousuke nor his two fellow Mithril soldiers assigned to the mission—Sgt. Kurz Weber and Sgt. Major Melissa Mao—are told any further details except to remain undetected and avoid drawing attention to their charge.
